The Agnini Brothers lecturing on the latest Implant and Digital Innovations at 105th AAP Meeting in Chicago

Saturday the 2 of November the Agnini Brothers had the honor and the privilege to lecture at the 105th American Academy of Periodontology meeting, during the Zimmer Biomet Corporate forum.
The American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) is a 7,500-member professional organization for periodontists – specialists in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases affecting the gums and supporting structures of the teeth, and in the placement of dental implants.

Periodontics is one of the nine dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association. The Academy’s purpose is to advance the periodontal and general health of the public and promote excellence in the practice of periodontics.The American Academy of Oral Prophylaxis and Periodontology was founded in 1914 and changed its name to the American Academy of Periodontology in 1919.

In this contest, the Agnini Brothers lectured about the latest Implant Innovations and Materials, such as the Trabecular Metal Implant, made of Tantalum and how this could be integrated in the management of simple and complex cases. Zimmer Biomet is one of the historical sponsors of the Association and its corporate forum speakers panel involved also Gary Morris from Chicago and Edgar El Chaar, chair of the Perio Department at the New York University.
