On Friday and Saturday, 23/24 November, the customary annual event of Sirio took place in Rome, in the beautiful setting of the Auditorium Antonium. This association was born in 2012 from the merger of the SIRIO and ARCOI Associations: the charismatic and gentlemanly president Fabrizio Fiorentini was succeeded by Dr Roberto Pistilli.
SIRIO ARCOI is on a rapidly rising path. Just as the number of members and sympathisers is constantly increasing, testifying that the love for research, development and improvement of the profession is inherent in all of us professionals who have dedicated our lives to the Art of Medicine. Testifying to the efforts of this association is the first-rate event that the scientific committee, chaired by Dr Luigi Canullo, has organised. Speakers of international calibre, led by Nitzan Bitchaco, took turns on the podium, focusing their presentations on the most current topics in Modern Dentistry.
The Agnini brothers were assigned the task of reporting on modern therapeutic approaches to be used in the management of the immediate post-extraction alveolus in the aesthetic zone, a subject they developed by discussing Dual Zone approaches, Partial Extraction Therapy and above all Surgical Veneer Grafting, a protocol they published together with the Atlanta Team of the Salama brothers last winter.
