On the weekend of 12/13 May, the first of 3 courses organised by Implant Direct Italia was held at the DDR education centre in Sassuolo. The programme included a two-day session on digital prosthetic implantation with live surgery of a single implant that was scanned with the True Definition Intraoral Scanner and over the course of the 2 days participants had the opportunity to follow all the steps of the digital workflow.
On Saturday morning, dental technician Simone Maffei explained the fundamental steps from a technical point of view to the various dental technicians present, also focusing on the new materials available and the development of protein components.
