The DDR Education Team was greatly represented by the Agnini Brothers, Ivo Sighinolfi, Roberto Apponi, Leon Pariente and Karim Dada at the recent DentalXp Digital Summit held at the New York University. DentalXP is an online dental education site with thousands of online dental videos, online CE courses, streaming lectures, and dental articles. Every Year organizes several international meetings worldwide and the biggest one is always the Global Symposium one in where all the XP Family, gather to increase their level of education and spend some quality time with friends, colleagues and families.
The summer event is always held in the main auditorium of New York University and every year has a different topic of interest, which this year was Digital Dentistry. Several hands on program were also organized and in one of them, the Agnini Brothers together with the Master Dental Technician Ivo Sighinolfi, showed the full digital workflow needed for a Smile Make Over. They described and showed live how to take a digital impression, how to create a Digital Smile Design project, how to interface the STL with the Cad Design done by Mr Sighinolfi and finally they performed on a life patient the Smile Make Over try in.
Itero and Align Technology partnered with the DDR Education and Dentalxp in this occasion, making possible the DDR Team presence in NYC. The DDR Team had as well the opportunity and the great honor to kick off the meeting on Saturday, with two lectures, one by the Agnini Brothers and one by the Frenchman Leon Pariente and Karim Dada, on how the Digital Dental Revolution affected the implant and the prosthetic field. The top knotch speakers line up put together by the Salama brothers involved as well Markus Blatz, Dean Vafiadis, Nazary Mykhaylyuk and Richard Martin among others. The next DentalXp Meeting will be held in Beirut, the 8 and 9 of November.
