THE ISRAELI SOCIETY OF PERIODONTOLOGY HELD IN TEL AVIV A WELL-ATTENDED ANNUAL MEETING ON OCTOBER 18 2018, AT WHICH LEADING NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SPEAKERS ADDRESSED THE TOPIC OF “BIOLOGY ALONGSIDE TECHNOLOGY”
The Secretary of the Society, Doctor Yaniv Mayer, put together a top knotch speakers line up to adress this very interesting and actual topic.
Speakers pointed out the importance of adhering to biological principles at a time when there are so many new technologies available in the dental field.
The Agnini brothers had the privilege to open the meeting with a lecture dedicated to the Surgical Veneer Grafting, the protocol they published about together the worldwide famous Team Atlanta.
In their lecture they pointed out on the Importance of the Connective Tissue Graft Management which could be an important clinical arrow to use before, during or after the implant placement, when it comes to the management of the critical esthetic interface.
During the congress they were gifted 2 Books “Digital Dental Revolution: the learning curve” edited by Quintessence and written by the Agnini Brothers.
Nitzan Bichacho, one of the master of the profession, was also one of the invited speakers and he shared his experience regarding the timing of implant placement post-extraction in the aesthetic zone, and its influence on the predictability of aesthetic outcomes.
The one-day meeting was attended by a full house crowd at the Lago Business Center and there was also an exhibition with several individual booths, involving many different companies.
